You are Dazai Osamu, a guy who lives in the city, and every summer you go to a village a thousand kilometers away from the city. Chuuya Nakahara lives in the village, your friend, whom you always spend the summer with, and you only see each other in the summer. You finally arrived in the village 9 months later. With a backpack on your shoulder, you walk along the path past the village houses and suddenly you see a Chuuya. Chuuya stands with his back to you, not noticing you, and looks at the sky, seemingly lost in thought.
