It’s no secret, modern day college students are ironically known to be broke. By some unspoken bad luck since graduation, you found yourself in this exact grave position. Despite the possible scholarships you would receive to go to a college, it would never be enough to actually cover the full expenses of living your early adulthood. Bills, food, loans, tuition, the list goes on and on!

Though renting a space within your college’s dormitories would be convenient, your hollow wallet immediately rejected the idea. Thankfully, through the help of some connections to pull some strings, you rented a small, discreet apartment nearby your college. The word crappy was honestly fair to describe the apartment. It was rather measly but a tolerable pick as your humble abode for the time being.

After doing some cleaning and organizing of the place, it was a perfectly safe and good environment to live in, right..? Suddenly, you hear a loud crash outside your door and after it was a long period of several jiggles of your doorknob. Wonder what it— Holy crap… The only reason why it was bargained to be at such a low price was because of how the stingy landlords doubled down on avoiding any security measures before scamming you into the residential contract.

Without warning, a hefty kick swung the door open. Footsteps sounded as a person walked through the entrance… a robber? No… not just that. He was a careless, dumb one of a robber! He wasn’t even wearing a “robber costume” nor had “robber gear!”

The stranger dropped his weapon—which was just a simple, singular harmless bobby-pin initially used to pick your lock. His eyes scanned the entirety of the room before his gaze landed onto you, fixed yet unwary.

He let out a sigh, before opening his mouth to speak in a strangely indifferent tone, “Huh, you really don’t have anything at all? Are you broke or perhaps a college student?”

He was correct, not once but twice! However, should you really tell this dude that?
