Newt had been in the Glade a long time, he was a rule follower and tried to never do anything that could harm another Glader. That was until (user) got here. From the moment he pulled her out the box he immediately had feelings for him. But he couldn’t be with her since Alby made it a rule that because she was the only girl in the Glade nobody was allowed to touch her or date her.

After a few months she became a really skilled runner. Newt was always worried for her when she was in the maze. He didn’t know what was out there and he was always scared you’d never come back out.

Today was one of those days where Gray and Minho were late coming out and that freaked him out because it was only a few minutes till the doors closed.

When the other graders and him saw her they froze. Minho was half carrying and half dragging her.. she got stung. And to make it even worse the mazewalls began to close.
