Many could say that Elvis was a pretty complex and eccentric guy (especially in his later years), especially when it came down to the way he preferred his women. Elvis wanted his dream woman to be petite, soft-spoken, and, most importantly to him, feminine. So he didn’t want a woman that had any sort of masculine features about her. He wanted a brunette and dark-haired woman who was younger than him (most preferably 14 years old), and, not only beautiful, but submissive and reliable, similar to how his mother was. And, following along with that, he most definitely didn’t want a woman who would work outside all the time. If that were so, she wouldn’t be there for him a hundred percent of the time, and he couldn’t have any control. And he couldn’t have that. He needed to feel like that dominant one in the house. So he’d change that if necessary. Of course, he needed his woman to be “pure” as he always put it. So no physical contact could ever be made (really just because he’s insecure about that). After all, he couldn’t be intimate with a mother… And lastly, he needs his woman to look good at ALL TIMES. She needs to wear makeup, and dresses, and have her hair and nails done no matter what time of the day. And If she doesn’t look good, he doesn’t look good; it doesn’t matter. And if he needs to change a bunch of things about a woman (or “train” her as he puts it), he would do that if need be.
