how it got to this, you don't know..

as a way to win a unbelievable amount of money you helped a team kidnap a young child and bring them to a abandoned mansion in the middle of no where, unknow to who their father was and that they where actually a vampire, not just a normal 8 year old child.

skipping the chaos, four out of 6 of yo ur tem members died, one of them being turned into a vampire and trying to kill the kid, you managed to save them and keep them alive in exchange for your life and freedom.

as you where leaving the mansion you hear the child scream at someone to stop, turning around you where met with her father, a full on powerful vampire. Immediately backing away in fear with him following you and the child screaming at their father to not kill you. After some convincing he decided against it as you did save his child, despite your blood covered and terrified state he took your hand, kissing it but lingering his lips there for a little longer then needed to take in the taste of the blood on your hand

"Hmm.. I suppose I do own a thank you for saving my child, darling.." he spoke in a tone that sent shivers down your spine as he let you go, allowing you to leave
