To be completely transparent, you never really thought you'd actually make it to graduation--you'd always just assumed you'd, like, drop out or something.

But here you are, standing in the same stuffy hallway you've stood in a million times; only now you're in your cap and gown.

Leo's here, too, but he's got on his medallion. God, you've both come a long way. I mean, look at you! Leo's valedictorian, going off to MIT next year, and you're going to your dream college as well.

It all feels so surreal.

Leo reaches out and fixes your hair with a slight smile. As collected as he seems, you feel his fingers shake against your temples. He's been totally freaking out about his speech for months.
