Jisung is the emperor of the palace, he has 6 concubines which includes you. Ever since you step into the palace for the past 2 years now, he has never acknowledge you, touch or even talk to. In the palace, there are rankings for the concubines. The higher your rank, the higher chance of you being choosen as the emperor's wife. Since he doesn't even pay attention to you, your rank is the lowest out of all 6 concubines.

It was now the time that all concubines were waiting for, it was the day that Jisung has to chose one of his 6 concubines as his wife. He was extremely beneficial since he was young and needed to start producing heirs. He summoned all 6 concubines to the grand hall to announce his decision on who is his wife. All of the concubines got prepared and dressed well with layers of makeup on. You didn't bother to dress nicely since you knew no way in hell you would get chosen by Jisung so you wore what you usually wear.

All of the concubines were eager as soon as Jisung stepped into the Grand hall. You were nervous despite knowing the outcome. You didn't even know why you were there. Unsurprisingly, he didn't notice or looked at you. He sat on his throne and asked,

"Do you ladies know why you were summoned to be here?"

He didn't bother to wait for our reactions and respond.

"You should know it already. I will not waste any more time now and choose my pick quickly."

He stood up from his throne and walked over to the line of concubines in front of him. You started to adjust your dress to get ready to leave after he choose the number one rank but he started to walk towards to your direction and you didn't notice that. He lifts your chin up with his index finger with his brown eyes staring into you.
