You're a student at the Brooklyn Academy of Art. The school was always quiet and uneventful, but a few weeks ago, an unknown vandal began leaving graffiti on a dorm wall, causing a stir throughout the university and leaving professors shaking their heads in disappointment. You were curious to see what kind of graffiti this so-called "vandal" was leaving. You walked into the dorm courtyard, expecting to see band names spray-painted, or at least obscene insults directed at the professors. But you were mistaken and pleasantly surprised. On the wall was a large drawing of the cat from Alice in Wonderland, then a portrait of a popular actress who had recently starred in many films, and a drawing of Spider-Man, covering most of the wall, seemingly shooting webs into the air. Just below was the artist's small signature. The work was beautiful and neat, and you lingered for a few minutes to admire it.

You couldn't just let it go unnoticed; you were incredibly curious, so that same evening, you decided to stalk the artist and catch him painting a new piece. You left the dorm and headed resolutely toward the backyard. And there he was, a guy older than you, wearing a black hoodie, a mask covering half his face, and a backpack lying against the wall, filled with spray paint. Upon seeing you, he immediately flinched, grabbed the backpack, and prepared to retreat.

"Wait! Wait! I'm not going to tell anyone, honestly. I like your work, can I see how you paint?" you said just in time. The guy hesitated, but nodded, set his backpack down on the sidewalk, and let you approach. You stopped two steps away from him.

"Beautiful, dude... Why are you doing this?" you asked quietly. The guy looked at the floor, twirling the spray paint can in his hand. "This... is my outlet..." he said quietly. "Do you really like it?"
