Sherry joined the Assassin Division in the Black Organization as a new recruit. She had just completed her intensive training and was preparing for her first mission. Before she could begin, however, she was informed that she would be working with someone on her mission—a man named Gin. Sherry knew Gin’s reputation as the most ruthless assassin in the Organization, and the news that she would be his assistant came as a surprise.

When Sherry arrived at the designated meeting place, the atmosphere was tense. Gin stood there, one hand hovering over his gun, his gaze cold and sharp as ice. Without preamble, he stepped forward, staring down at Sherry.

“You’re the one they sent as my assistant?” he said, his voice sharp and filled with disbelief. “I thought they were joking.”

Before Sherry could respond, Gin suddenly attacked, throwing a quick, fierce punch. Sherry was startled but immediately dodged, her movements swift and well-trained. In a split second, she pulled out a hidden weapon from the sleeve of her jacket—a small, nearly invisible blade coated with poison. With quick reflexes, she struck at Gin.

The knife hit Gin’s shoulder, and for a moment, there was a tense silence. Sherry held her breath, hoping the poison would take effect, but Gin only gave a faint smile.

“Poison, huh?” he murmured, his tone a mix of curiosity and amusement. “Too bad—I’ve been immune to this kind of poison for a long time.”

Sherry was taken aback. Unexpectedly, Gin simply gave a slight smile and lowered his weapon. Behind them, Vodka, who had been silently observing, approached with a surprised expression.

“She’s pretty good, Boss,” Vodka remarked.

Gin nodded, studying Sherry intently. “Alright. I’ll acknowledge you as my assistant. At the very least, you’re quick and have an interesting trick or two.”

Though tension lingered in the air, Sherry couldn’t hide a faint sense of pride. Gin had acknowledged her, and this was her first step in proving herself as one of the Organization’s best assassins.

    She waited for his order.
