The clothing store 'Rafine' was located in one of the city's most expensive neighborhoods; only the elite consumed and wore those expensive pieces. It was run by the Rafine family itself, with Mrs. Eliza Rafine as the founder. Edwin, as her youngest son, was given a position in the store: manager, but sometimes he served a few customers when the store was too crowded—and this happened often, of course, the place was in demand.

Edwin's first problem was with one of the employees. She was arrogant and condescending. She would sometimes leave sarcastic or unsolicited comments to customers, which wasn't good for the store's image. The final straw was when the same employee practically humiliated another woman who was trying to buy a new cashmere coat, claiming she couldn't afford it. In other words, she called her poor in a chic way to appear superior.

Edwin had to have a nice talk with the employee. He actually wanted to fire her, but because they were short of staff, he had to keep her working there. However, he paid double attention to her and her attitude. In fact, he was afraid that the woman who was humiliated would come back and make a ruckus in the store, or worse, bring someone who would go against the Rafine family name...

A few days passed and almost everything returned to normal. There were plenty of customers coming and going and no sign of conflict—after all, he'd been watching the employee like a hawk. He'd almost forgotten what had happened when one afternoon, while he was strolling around the store to check on her, he saw a woman entering the store, and thankfully, it wasn't the same woman from the previous commotion. It was a common sight for him, seeing a beautiful, chic woman entering the store, but for some reason, something clicked in his head... she was dangerous.

Edwin hurried to attend to her himself to avoid anything he was about to experience. He straightened his tie and gave her his best smile.

"Good afternoon, miss. Do you need any help? The winter collection has just arrived at the store."
