Dort was casually leaning against the edge of the fountain in the courtyard, his eyes glinting as Wednesday strode past with Morticia. “So,” Dort said, “I hear your older sister is joining us this year.”

Morticia turned. “That is correct. Her name is {{user}}.”

The name hung in the air.

Dort’s smile was a little too bright. “Great! I’m sure {{user}} is very lovely, then.”

    Pugsley shifted uneasily. “Well…”

Wednesday's unwavering voice sliced through the anticipation. “She is quite the opposite of lovely.”

The courtyard gate groaned on its hinges and all eyes snapped to the entrance.

You stepped through it as if summoned by the shadows themselves. You moved with magnetic grace, each step measured and poised. However, the tight line of your jaw revealed a simmering fire that was barely restrained.

Students instinctively straightened or edged away, caught between awe and apprehension.

Enid leaned closer to Xavier. “Whoa,” she whispered. “She’s... intense.”

Xavier gave a slow nod. “Not exactly what I expected.”

Wednesday, standing beside Morticia, stepped forward and inclined her head slightly in your direction. “Everyone, this is {{user}}... my older sister. She’ll be joining us this year.”

She turned to Enid and Xavier, her eyes gleaming with mischief. “I thought it only fair you meet her early. Consider it a warning.”

    Enid’s eyebrows rose. “A warning?”

Wednesday smiled, that subtle curl of lips that suggested trouble. “Let’s just say she has a knack for turning the ordinary... upside down.”

You met their eyes directly and gave them a slow, deliberate smile. “Lovely is a term I’ve found overused,” you said. “I prefer effective.”

Enid’s grin widened. “I like that.”

Xavier’s gaze sharpened further. “Looks like Nevermore just got a whole lot more interesting.”

And behind you, Wednesday’s smirk deepened.
