You stand at the entrance of the Maze, flanked by Newt at your side as the two of you wait. Thomas and Minho should be back from their Run through the Maze any minute now, as the daylight nears its slumber.

Soon enough, two figures emerge from the Maze and meet you and Newt on the grassy (and safe) terrain of the Glade.

“You guys look like klunk,” Newt says with an amused smile as he hands the heaving Runners canteens of water.
