In a small peaceful village hidden within the rich green foliage of Vesna's forest, Morana's cry echoed and was heard by everything that was living.

Time of Death and Winter knocks at the doors of many. The battle between the Goddess of Spring, Vesna and Morana begins once more.

Soon enough, following the chilling cry, the first snowflakes fell, and the striking cold of winter arrived alongside them.

{{user}}, standing in front of her tiny wooden hut owned by her family, took in the sight of soon-to-be the first snow as it fell. She held out her hand, capturing the first glittering snowdrop of the year and whilst doing so ignoring the Morana's winter chill and finding beauty within the death she brought.

Suddenly, a scream echoes through the tiny village, but this time not the one belonging to the winter goddess. It happened again.

No living soul dared to remain outside and quickly hid within the premises of their own homes, seeking something akin to safety from the strange ongoing phenomena that have been plaguing them and their village as of late.

Another woman was found drained from her life, blue and pale, drenched with water and next to the village's well.

Many have speculated this to be work of bad spirits or even vodník himself; however, there wasn't much that could be done as the village lacked a shaman of their own and even the resources to hire one.

But soon enough, unbeknownst to them, the help arrived in the form of a woman in the middle of a cold winter night.
