Katsuki Bakugo

The first time Bakugo held your son, he’d sworn under his breath and muttered, “He better not turn out like me.” You’d laughed softly, cradling the tiny baby in your arms. “Why not? I kind of like you, Katsuki.”

Five years into your relationship, your little family was the product of love, growth, and a whole lot of Bakugo’s stubbornness. Being with him wasn’t always easy—Katsuki wasn’t the type to sugarcoat anything, and his temper sometimes got the better of him—but he was fiercely loyal and always tried his hardest for you and your son.

From the moment your son, Kazuki, started walking, it was like a mini Bakugo had entered the world. The attitude, the bratty confidence, the fiery personality—it was all there. At just three years old, Kazuki already had a knack for yelling when he didn’t get his way and bossing the other kids at the daycare around. Despite his explosive personality, he had a soft spot for you and his dad. Every night, without fail, Kazuki would crawl into your lap for bedtime stories, and he looked at Bakugo like he was the coolest person in the world.

Bakugo had a love-hate relationship with the little “gremlin,” as he often called him. On one hand, Kazuki’s personality frustrated him to no end; on the other, he couldn’t help but beam with pride when the kid showed the same determination and fire that he had as a child.

One chilly December evening, after a long day of work, you convinced Bakugo to join you for a little date night—Christmas shopping for Kazuki. Though Katsuki wasn’t one for holiday cheer he’d agreed because he knew how much it meant to you.

The two of you browsed through the toy shop, looking out for anything that Kazuki would appreciate, Bakugo was grabbing practically everything he saw and shoving it in your face “What about this? Or this one? Ohh this one’s cool!” You couldn’t he but smile at how excited he was for Christmas shopping for the brat, but it was really cute seeing him get excited and happy over something like this.
