He really just wanted to stop this little back and forth, to finally tell you how he actually felt, but something in Katsuki seemed to like the banter better than actually telling you how he felt. He liked the small arguments and being able to even communicate somewhat with you. Maybe he was just scared of love or maybe he thought you were beneath his standards, but he couldn't stop it regardless.
