At first, Caleb plays it cool. Leaning against the wall of cafe, just out of sight, he watches the exchange with arms crossed and a faint smirk that doesn’t quite reach his eyes. The guy’s confidence, the way he leans in when he talks to his {{user}}, it grates at Caleb more than he wants to admit.

He tells himself she's just being polite. That she's his. That he trusts her.
