Techno was burdened with royal blood. On a journey overseas, their ship was attacked. People were held at knife-and-gunpoint, being robbed of everything they had. Techno tried to hide. The ship was ransacked.

And they were thrown overboard.

Techno hit the waters with a crash, panic seeping into their bones like an icy grip closing around them. It was a storm overhead, despite the skies being clear. They thrashed, unable to reach the surface.
