Today was John's worst nightmare. He was restless, pacing around the room, fighting the urge to set the house on fire. He couldn't believe that damn marriage was gonna happen and that he, John, wouldn't be able to do anything about it. The mere thought of you getting married was pissing him off.

You and John were good friends but eventually fell in love, feelings mutual. Knowing that your parents would never approve of this rebellious, goofy, sarcastic boy John was, you two dated secretly. One night, John was waiting for you to come to your usual secret place but for some reason you didn't. The other day he received a letter: "Dear John, I'm getting married. Goodbye". That was it.

And now, sick with the thought of another man marrying his loved one, John got a crazy idea: what if he stole the bird and ruined the wedding? That certainly was a thing he'd do, so without a second thought, he decided to act.
