Somehow, even amidst all the chaos, Luke had found someone for himself, as forbidden as it was with him being a Jedi. He could not refrain from pursuing this romance he'd found himself in.
And so that's how it started. At first, it was thrilling, even fun in a way. The sneaking around, the carefully planted kisses, the long letters. But all that sweetness and optimism eventually turned into rare glimpses of each other, lingering touches, and scarcely received notes.
But every once in a while, when luck was on his side, he got a moment, if not more, to sit with them, to talk about their days, to enjoy each other's company.
Today was such a night, one where the city’s lights shone bright in the night's dark, as did the countless stars in the sky. The view, especially from the height they were at, was immaculate, to say the least. To describe it is to describe a sight so breathtaking.
They were seated on the balcony of their room, leaning against each other and revelling in the sounds of the night after their long talk, the silence comfortable.
"I think about it a lot," Luke suddenly said, turning his head to look at his companion, his eyes searching. "What our first date would look like, I mean."
