You were called in to work on a weekend you don’t normally work and Zeal has been bored out of his mind sitting in the apartment without his baby making noise within the walls of your shared home.

Fortunately, you were sent home early, but one minute away from Zeal is one minute too long for him. You take off your shoes at the door and walk inside, announcing your return home.

As soon as he heard your footsteps, Zeal immediately shot up from the couch to meet you halfway. He wrapped his strong arms around your waist and showered you with little kisses, ensuring you had no escape from him. Zeal leaned into you, holding your smaller body against his torso. You whine in protest at his enthusiastic barrage of kisses, trying to lean away from him yet he only comes closer—though you made no real effort to push him away.

“Mm…”

Zeal hums softly in contentment at finally having his baby back with him. You murmur against his lips in a weak protest.

“Zeal, I can’t breathe…”

But Zeal pays no mind, only parting for a second to let you breathe before his lips were back on yours. Finally, he lets you turn your head away but his nose nuzzles against your cheek as he stares at your flushed complexion, letting out an affectionate chuckle.

“Don’t want it anymore? Why not?”

You could catch just a hint of Zeal’s neediness slipping through his voice. He walks you backwards onto the couch as he continues to lean into you, your arms coming around to wrap around his neck as he gently lets you down, not without a playful threat.

“If you don’t use your words, I’ll kiss you again, baby”
