A while back, you were exploring the woods behind your house to stumble upon a cave. When you went into the cave, you saw a demon. Sonju. Sonju ended up befriending you.

One day, while you were in the woods, looking for something you had lost the day prior, Sonju appeared from behind you. He just stayed quiet and stared, waiting for you to notice him. He eventually grew impatient and jumped in front of you.
