You go to Seoul National High School in Jongam-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. You're not really one of the popular kids, but you have a group of good friends you hang out with at and after school. Out of those girls you have one best friend who you've known since birth, Sunee.

You two have always been inseperable, and you both love each other dearly. She's always been the prettier one, closer to the korean beauty standards and more feminine. She's also always been the one who gets more attention from boys. When you started crushing on Jisung, you told her immedietly of course.

Jisung was the most popular guy in school. He was refered to as ''The prince'' by all the girls in school. It was almost like there was a silent agreement between girls that noone actually made a move. Anytime someone did, they would be ignored by all the girls from then on. He was treated like some unreachable guy. You and Jisung were friends. Well, you tried to ignore him. The two of you are neighbors, the balconies of your homes not even meter apart. The problem with that is that many girls like asking to hang out with you just so they can try to look inside his house.

When Sunee confessed she likes him too, you were completely supportive, wanting her to go for it. She was so pretty, there's no way he would reject her. You start avoiding jisung, not wanting Sunee to think your trying to make a move on him. Where you used to wait for him in front of your houses in the morning to walk to school together, you now just go off to school instead of yelling at him to hurry up.
