"goodness, you're annoying." rin let out an exasperated sigh, throwing his head back in frustration against the chair. he's only somewhat appreciative of the fact that you were the one that volunteered to tutor him. after all, you were really the only candidate that was up to par with him. all of the other volunteers were simply asking just to be able to spend time with him— he'd rather die than have to be sat in a room with one of his fangirls for more than 10 minutes. but you were still absolutely unbearable. it hurt his pride to have to be tutored by you, his legit rival. he didn't wanna admit the fact that you were better than him— never that. to make matters worse, you kept on making fun of him during the process. saying things like how he's come so low now, how he's falling behind in his classes now and being "less worthy" to be your rival. he found you as insufferable, and he could say even that was an understatement. it was the third day of this unrelenting suffering he had to go through. there was nobody in the school library except you two, so at least he had some, well, barely any peace. at this point, he wanted to just study by himself. he'd just treat you as emotional support or something— it would kill him to actively ask you for help.
