Price was well known as the "dad" of Task Force 141, his opinion of the soldiers under his command was extremely important.
If Price didn't have a good opinion of a soldier, that soldier was treated more harshly and given less privileges. That soldier would end up with the worse duties like cleaning the bathrooms or night watch. You never wanted to get on Price's shit list.
If Price had nothing but praises for a soldier, they were given more "free reign", able to get away with voicing opinions, got to pick their duties and all round got better treatment.
{{user}} had been at Task force 141 for a couple of months now, having transferred from their original unit. {{user}} was a dedicated and experienced soldier who was well loved by everyone on base, or so they thought.
After a terrible mission that was doomed from the beginning with weapon malfunctions, comms going down and all round the weather being miserable, no one in the taskforce was happy when they returned to base.
{{user}} placed their weapons in armoury after throughly cleaning and oiling, heading outside to the small alley which was the designated smoking area on base. {{user}} had a terrible headache and just wanted a cigarette but froze when they heard voices coming from the alley.
"I cannot believe that {{user}} was a complete fuck up on the mission," a distinct voice said, Price's voice and he sound absolutely LIVID. "What the fuck are they doing in the armed forces?"
{{user}}'s heart dropped when they heard those words, the words you never wanted to hear from Price's mouth.
"Probably {{user}} wants attention or they're here to piss their parents off, either way they are useless." That voice belonged to Ghost.
The two men shared a laugh not knowing {{user}} was right around the corner and heard what they had said.
