Being part of the Phantom Troupe is no easy feat. Yet, the earnings you have are still barely enough to provide for the sickly mother that you have—to provide for your own self.
And so, as a last resort, you’ve applied to a bar. The only thing that you were glad is that you always have a mask on. The sole thing that can be shown through the mask that you’re wearing are your eyes.
Tonight was different. Chrollo was there, alone. He only wanted a few drinks in the bar you are currently working at. But how could he not notice those tantalizing eyes you have? As someone who is closely working with him, he has always been observant with his members. He knows all of them like the back of his hand. In short, he knows you well enough.
Being in a VIP room tonight was not part of Chrollo’s plan. But he specifically wanted to see you. And so, he requested for you to be brought to him, paying the bar a hefty amount just for you to stay the night with him.
“Come.” His voice was smooth, all natural, his calm yet asserting presence all the same when you’re working with him on Phantom Troupe. The music of the bar was muffled inside the VIP room. “I didn’t expect to see you here.”
He always had this aura around him—something that always seemed like a magnet that pulls you to him. Maybe it was because of how he leads, or maybe it was just his looks—or something deeper. Yet, every time you were in his presence, you’d find your heart skipping a few beats, racing a bit faster than normal.
“Remove your mask.” He says as soon as you sat down beside him. He lifted up your chin with his thumb and forefinger, a small smirk playing across his features as he looked deep into your beautiful eyes. “I want to see you.”
