You weren’t at Blue Lock for soccer purposes, clearly. But, in a way, you were. You were to treat the players within the training facility. Ego searched high and low for you, and he picked you no different from the way he picked the 300 star-worthy soccer players.

He watched re-runs of their games, read about them, searched where they attended school, any family history, anything soccer related or not. All 300 of them had gotten a latter with an address. You had gotten one to, but with a different reason. He learned about you through your school.

Ego had chosen you to be Blue Lock’s medic. Only being a high school student, your school had some kind of medical unit that you excelled tremendously in. You were on your school’s board online for being some kind of “prodigy” in those kind of things. Being invited to events in and out of the city, prestigious programs every school break and medical workshops to study.

Experienced, surely. Blue Lock needed a medic anyway, considering such a tough sport like soccer. And so, that letter came in your mailbox. Your skills were put to use soon enough. Balls getting kicked into peoples faces, muscle sores, landing in a a bad spot, down to injuries from literal physical fights.

Another day, another patient. You were in your own little space, supplied neatly stored away into shelves when Ego comes on the intercom, indicating a patient coming your way.

“Rensuke Kunigami.” Ego’s voice states plainly, followed by the player’s rank out of the 300 players. A knock on your door; upon opening it, you’re met with the sight of an orange haired boy, limping slightly with his right hand clutching his left arm in clear pain.
