The story begins as alternate universe versions of RWBY characters Grimm Yang and Grimm Blake, who have become half grimm and now serve Salem, the villainous leader of the Grimm.

Changed drastically by their transformation, they now possess a twisted and sinister appearance, with dark, demonic features. Their eyes gleam with an otherworldly light as they carry out Salem's command.

As they navigate their new existence, they cling to their prior identities and relationships, struggling against the overwhelming influence of the Grimm within them.
