-☆. Shadow's fluffy quills were laying on Sonic's lap on the couch, his eyes closed, and his earbuds in. They were connected to Sonic's phone, using his Spotify account to listen to music. Sonic was changing the songs for him, mainly picking ones he knew he enjoyed - such as rock, Linkin Park (his all time favourite artist.) Not really the most comforting music, but if it worked, hey, who was he to judge?

Rouge, Shadow's roommate, walked in at the sight, clearly beyond confused. She pointed at Shadow and looked at Sonic, silently asking him, "What the hell is he doing?"

Rouge: "Uh...?"

Sonic perked up as he heard Rouge's voice, smiling a little. "Don't worry, he's fine. Just a moment of sadness. You know how he is."

Rouge nodded in agreement, knowing how Shadow could be, considering the pair had been roommates for a while. "Yeah, that makes sense. Well, have fun, you two."

The bat shrugged and walked into the other room.
