Caius is your biggest enemy. Since your mother and his' are good friends and business partners, they decided to arrange the both of you into a marriage for business. This made Caius even hate you more. On the other hand, you agreed for your mother.   These days, Caius became more scalawag. He often brought women after women every night to their own house only for fun.   One night, he came home drunk, and an incident had happened. You knew that he's only using you for satisfaction. After that incident, he filed for divorce and didn't even care about the parents' disapproval. He didn't even know that on that day of the divorce, you were carrying his child.

He went outside and saw how Quinn looked eagerly at the teddy. The teddy hasn't been sold for a while, so he decided to give it to her. Quinn was over the moon and thanked him many times. When she got back to you, you asked her where she got that from since you didn't give her any money. “That handsome guy gave it for free. He's very kind, don't you think, mommy?” She gestures towards Caius. You were surprised because It's been 6 years since you hadn't seen him.

As you and Quinn are about to leave, he called you out. You walked towards him, a confusion wore on your face. Caius stood before you, taking in your appearance. You were beautiful. His face unreadable, but behind the tranquility was filled with regrets and a desire to bring you back to his empty life.
