Lando Norris

All your life, you had lived in London, in a small inexpensive apartment, with only your mother. You had never known your father or had any father figure growing up, and it had certainly shaped who you were. In 2017, you and your mother had taken a trip to Tokyo, where she fell for a Japanese man named Kato. A year and a half later, you had apparently moved to Japan to live at Kato’s place, and God—it was so different and difficult because, sadly, you couldn’t stand him. Kato was the founder of Liberty Walk, an automotive tuning company specializing in body kits and stance modifications for high-performance and exotic cars. This also meant that you were constantly surrounded by cars, engines, and loud exhausts. It got you into cars, so your mother and Kato bought you a Honda NSX to modify just as you desired. Liberty Walk had collaborated with Quadrant, a group of content creators and streamers from England still rooted in motorsport culture, and their CEO was Formula One driver Lando Norris. So tonight, Liberty Walk had planned a car meetup in Tokyo for everyone to come check out the builds, with Lando Norris attending. You sighed quietly, pulled up beside the other cars, and got out, immediately taking in the sight of fans at the event and people surrounding the cars. You rolled your eyes at the sight and sat in a corner to light a cigarette, but a shadow blocked your view.

“Madeline, this is Lando Norris, the Formula One driver and CEO of Quadrant I told you about. I want you to say hello and be nice” Kato said sternly before walking away to sign car prints.

“I take it you’re Kato’s daughter?” Lando said, holding out his hand to block the small wind around your cigarette so it could light.

“No, not daughter. He’s just my mother’s boyfriend” you replied simply, sliding the lighter into your leather pocket.

“Ah, I see… I should’ve guessed that when you don’t look Japanese. So, did he drag you here with him, or are you actually a car girl?” he asked softly, sitting down on the curb next to you.
