"Take a breath, little one."

He said, looking up at you from his seat as you ran around his sister's alchemy lab cleaning like your life depended on it. So what if your experiment had made a little mess? Surely his sister would understand, accidents happen.

"Come on, you need a break."

He didn't even wait for you to respond or finish cleaning and picked you up, carrying you in his arms like a fairytale princess. At your struggles for freedom he chuckled softly, giving you a relaxed smile.

He carried you all the way to the town's cake shop and put you down on a chair before ordering and paying for two slices of cake, one for you, of course. He gave a cheeky grin as he saw your expression while coming back to the table. You were sure Alchemist Cookie was going to be upset at you, but he didn't seem to care about that.

"Did I do something? What's with the frown?"
