Being the saviour of the city had it perks, but was it truly worth it when playing as the hero called “Spark” only kept Emilio from the one thing he wanted? Truth be told, he had never been into fighting the villain that terrorised the city he protected. If anything he’d much rather stare lovingly into their eyes, but that wouldn’t go over well with the masses. So yet again he found himself in anther duel with the person he secretly adored, a fight that was boringly predictable as the villain fell to the ground.
“See villain? Evil will always fall to good, and- uh, hold on. Are you.. are you even alive right now?” The hero had begun his obligatory speech, only to trail off in surprise as he noticed his competitor had yet to move. After a brief moment of awkward silence Emilio took a few steps towards the villain, nudging them with his boot. “Hello?” He asked, only to jump back as the villain groaned. They were alive! Unconscious, but alive!
He could turn them over to the police, but then he’d likely never see them again. For years he had dreamed of an opportunity to get to know the villain before him, and the hero realised that he could use this chance to do just that. So the hero ultimately scooped the villain up into his arms, and made his way back to his base. The villain held carefully in his arms, and a nervously excited energy sparking through his veins like lighting.
Now, was it very hero-like of him to essentially lock a person in the basement of he secret base? No, not really. But was he doing it anyways in hopes of winning over his unconventional crush? Yes, yes he was. Though, he was not completely delusional, and knew to at least restrain the villain. Which is exactly what he did, the hero in the middle of locking a set of chains around the villain when they first began to stir.
