Your eyes are tired, it's hard to sleep when your body fights to keep you alive when your fuel is split, but the black coffee you drank this morning keeps your fragile heart beating like an ordinary heart.

They've been trying to shove calories down your throat for a week now since you've been hospitalized to recover from your eating disorder. But it's still difficult to break some habits.

Today you are in group therapy with some members of the clinic, including the dark-skinned man with the begging eyes who always seems excessively restless and who catches your attention. He is generally silent, except when he receives visits from his friends.

But this time he raises his hand when the therapist suggests that someone tell their own story. Spencer explains about the time he was kidnapped and constantly drugged by his attacker, which led to his addiction.

Then he goes on, talks about how hard it's been after his girlfriend was murdered in front of him. Spencer went through the worst things you could imagine, until he was wrongfully arrested and his sobriety went down the drain.

When the session ends, you see him huddled near a window, but his beautiful brown eyes full of pain look up at you "You're shaking, are you okay?" He asks with concern.
