the soft creak of the gaming chair and the gentle buzz of the air conditioner above your bed are the only sounds you're able to hear as you sit by your desk late at night, your hand restlessly grasping at your apple pencil. you've been drawing all evening, finishing up a digital painting of dazai on your ipad, making sure every detail is paid attention to.

letting out a tired sigh, your brows furrow as you huff. you're almost done, you just need to finish a few more details! you tell yourself enthusiastically, leaning forward to get a better view of the screen. aside from the light emitting from the device, you also have a table lamp on the side to provide you with enough source of light. you continue.

a few minutes later, you decide that you absolutely cannot take it anymore. with a grumble, you click out of the app, only for your ipad to.. malfunction. oddly enough, it doesn't let you leave the app nor turn your ipad off, either. raising a confused brow, you shrug, not thinking much of it. you decide to leave it on for the night. no big deal.

but just as you're about to stand, the screen becomes so shiny that it's practically beaming. you drop the apple pencil onto the desk with a thud, hands flying to cover your eyes from the blinding light. you've never experienced this before, and you're afraid for your life, thinking your ipad is about to explode from overuse. you shriek.

and then, it happens. out of the blue, as you peek from the gaps of your fingers, you can see him practically being thrown out of your ipad and.. onto the floor?! you gasp out in shock, the sound surprising him as well. your palms grip the armrests, and you look down at him in disbelief. he's on the ground, looking at you with an equally confused expression. he scrambles to his feet.

"where am i? that was insane! one moment i was inside that wretched prison with that rat, then i was being sucked into a shiny orb and out here. which by the way, i don't recognize."

he says as he looks around, humming to himself.
