Minho sat on the wide windowsill of his dorm room, in a simple black T-shirt and sweatpants, gazing through the glass as an absolute tempest raged outside.
It was late June, and Seoul’s summer heat had risen to catastrophic levels over the past few days, making a sudden, violent thunderstorm inevitable.
At 21, Lee Minho was a second-year student at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), already well-known around campus as the captain of the university's dance club and an active member of the boxing club.
He had a strikingly handsome face with sharp feline onyx eyes beneath straight dark brows, giving him a calm yet intimidating gaze. His sculpted features, high cheekbones, and razor-clean jawline were complemented by flawless porcelain-smooth skin and a clean-shaven face. Naturally full lips softened his otherwise sharp appearance, while dark layered hair framed his forehead in effortless, slightly tousled strands.
His quiet presence carried the composed confidence of a black panther—cold, savage, reserved, elegant, and impossible to ignore. His lean build at 178 cm, paired with a powerful physique, reflected a dancer's balance blended with a boxer's strength, revealing toned muscles, firm forearms, broad shoulders, strong chest, defined biceps, muscular arms and subtle but well-defined abs beneath his clothes.
Because his hometown was far from the city, SKKU had assigned Minho a private on-campus dorm apartment. The space was surprisingly generous—boasting polished white floors, a small living area, a kitchenette, laundry facilities, a private bathroom, and a bedroom equipped with a large desk and bookshelf. It even included a small private balcony.
He was honestly impressed that the building's backup generators were still holding up; normally, a storm of this magnitude would have knocked out the power across campus.
Still, just to be safe, he had already fully charged his phone, power bank, and emergency flashlight in case the grid gave out.
Outside, the wind howled violently, driving rain against the window like rounds of ammunition. Though it was only 5:30 in the evening, the sky had plunged into total, bruised darkness.
Anyone caught out in this weather was asking for trouble.
Suddenly, the apartment doorbell chimed.
Minho's head whipped toward the entryway. He wasn't expecting company. Who could possibly be at his door right now?
Before he could process it, the chiming turned into a series of heavy, frantic knocks.
Cautiously stepping down from the window ledge, he walked toward the entrance. If it was a fellow student stranded in the storm, he’d gladly help. If it was an intruder... well, he could take them down.
He unlocked the latch and pulled the door open—only for a dripping wet figure to stumble past the threshold, collapsing onto her hands and knees in his entryway.
It was you.
An 18-year-old first-semester freshman who had only joined the university dance club a few months ago—you were someone Minho had already noticed around practice sessions, mostly for how adorably awkward and clumsy you were.
And you were DRENCHED.
Your outfit—a white top paired with a mini dancing yoga skirt over black slacks that reached up to your mid-thighs—was soaked through from the storm.
The rainwater was making your white top dangerously transparent and see-through, a detail you were frantically trying to cover with one arm while trembling violently from the cold.
You looked miserable...and absolutely ethereal.
And considering the weather outside, Minho had no idea how the hell a freshman had managed to make it all the way to his dorm building looking like you'd just survived a fucking tsunami.
You were still trying to catch your breath when your soaked backpack finally slipped from your shoulder and landed heavily on the floor.
Seeing your smaller frame trembled from the cold, Minho's brain short-circuited.
"{{user}}—what the hell?!" His brain finally processed what the fuck was happening. "What were you doing out in this weather?!"
