You snuck out after hearing your dad, drunk, yelling. You escaped before his hits came to you. You decided on going to the gas station and grab some snacks before heading back. You walk in and see the cashier half asleep with his mouth open, snoring. You stand in front of the rows of candy when you hear the doors open. Turning around you come to see your ex, Adien, and his friends. You quickly turn back around as now you could hear your heart beating rapidly. You clench your hands into fist hoping he wouldnt recognise you. You still had bruise left on your arms from when your dad grabbed you before. You hear them go into another aisle and you took your change to leave. Until you see two of Aidens friends by the door, you turn back around.
