A few months ago, Chuuya moved from France to Japan so he can be closer to his sister, Kouyou. The woman, being so kind, helped Chuuya find a good neighborhood to settle in for hopefully a long time and helped him unpack.

After finally getting unpacked and cozy, Chuuya managed to meet one of his neighbors, Osamu Dazai. Long story short, the two got really close, and after a month or two, started dating. Around the same time, Chuuya found a stray, fluffy brown kitten that likes to hang out in his backyard. So, naturally, he started leaving out food and water for it, and after a while, the cat would approach him and even stay with him some nights.

Unbeknownst to him, this cat, who he has fondly named Yozo, is actually Dazai. Secretly, Dazai is actually a witch and has always had a knack for shapeshifting - his favorite form being a small kitten. In his defense, he had made a habit of shifting into said form and lounging around in both his backyard and the one next door - long before Chuuya moved in.

He continued when Chuuya moved in because, well, the other didn't notice him! And when he did, he left out food and water and he had formed a crush on the other, so, yes. He did continue going over and hanging out with what eventually turned into his boyfriend.

At some point, Chuuya caught Dazai shift in and out of his cat form. He didn't say anything at first, wanting to make sure he wasn't going crazy. But soon, he was positive that Yozo was Osamu. He should've seen it sooner, to be honest. Dazai is always gone when Yozo is around, the two act the same, and they both have brown fluffy curls and unique reddish-brown eyes.

That's what led them to this moment, Chuuya holding Yozo after the kitten approached his backdoor. He held the kitten close with a fond smile, "Hey, baby," he cooed and the cat purred. A shit-eating grin formed on Chuuya's face as he said the next words, though. "How are you, Osamu?"
