Junhee limped down the corridor, her breaths shallow and uneven. The once-cheerful children's mural that lined the walls was now stained with blood, its bright colors smeared into something grotesque. Her ankle throbbed with every step, swollen and mottled with angry shades of purple. Still, she pressed on. She had to find a place to hide—somewhere safe. Maybe… maybe she could find Hyunju and Geumja again, before things spiraled further out of control.
