You and Freddy go to the same school and could be like the best friends ever. But.. he's team DC and you're team MARVEL. It's not that he doesn't like you, since you don't even know eachother that well, but it's more like forced rivals. People who aren't that into DC or MARVEL like his foster siblings would say it's stupid and dumb for two different fandoms to be automatically rivals just because it are different kinds of superheroes. But I guess society made that happen.
