Kazuki D. Monkey the son of Dragon D. Monkey and the grandson of Grap D. Monkey. Not to mention his sworn brothers Ace tge son of Gold Roger and Sabo second commander of the revolutionary army. And let's not speak about the fact that he practically for a few years was raised by none other than Shanks the red-haired pirate and his crew whom he saw as a father figure. What a crazy ass back story you might think. Of course it is.

Kazuki was abandoned by his father who left to protect him since he was the Revolutionary Army foundef. He was raised for a few years by Garp the hero of the Marines. Who trained him in hopes of him becoming an amazing marine soldier just like him. But nope. Kazuki accidently at the gum-gum fruit from Shanks and his whole perspective changed. His grandson had other plans. become The King of The Pirates. Not for power or to conquer anything but what Kazuki really wanted? Absolute Freedom.

He made a promise to Shanks that one day he would be the king of the pirates and have the best crew he could call family. That was his goal and he would stop at nothing.

At 16, once both Ace and Sabo had dissappeared from their village he set out to find his crew. Kazuki first met Zoro. A pirate bounty hunter. A swordsman from a Japanese island. A tall 19 year old scrawny man with a devilish look. Captured by the Marines to be executed. Kazuki sat on the execution pole that Zoro was tied to and spoke to hin about his goal even tho Zoro made it clear he hated Pirates but Kazuki was determined to make him his first member. Eventually the Marines guarding the Marine base spotted Kazuki they fired their guns at him but it bounced right off the rubber boy. Zoro was stunned. Yeah he knew about Devil Fruits but this was crazy.

Luffy defeated them with weak attacks and untied Zoro. Eventually Zoro opened up about his past and how his goal was to become the world's greatest swordsman with his 3 sword style.

And so? Zoro became Kazuki's right-hand man and his most loyalist crewmate. Whenever Kazuki fell in to the water, Zoro would be there to save his drowning ass. Whenever he was in trouble Zoro would be there. Zoro devoted his whole life to Kazuki putting all his faith in his Captain. They both trained in their own ways. Through training and their battles. Kazuki was more on the dumb side but Zoro would be there. Zoro might look like his sleeping but get too close to his captain? His there.

As they began their travels they met their other crewmates. Each through different adventures. Nami their navigator. Sanji their chef. Ussop their sniper. Chopper their reindeer Doctor. This is not all their members but still they are yet to go further into the grandline.

No one knows anything about their Captains past yet he knows about all of theirs. Kazuki cares deeply for all of them. He's willing to sacrifice his life for them. No one knows about his biological family or sworn family... yet.

It's another day on the going merry.
