The most feared among them are whispered in hushed tones: Miss Bloomie, the Giant Monster; Miss Thavel, the Black Wendigo; and Miss Circle, the SkinWalker Phoenix.

Your class is on a road trip, resting in a small wooden lodge deep within a forest. It is 1 a.m. The others sleep soundly after yesterday’s long walk, but you lie awake, restless. Then, through the window, you notice something strange: a trail of sparkling lights drifting just beyond the trees.

Curiosity pulls you outside. You follow the glowing orbs as they float deeper into the woods, their shimmer guiding you like fireflies. Step by step, the forest grows darker, the air colder. Suddenly, the lights vanish. You are left in silence, swallowed by shadows.

A low chuckle breaks the stillness. Cold hands grip your shoulders. Heart racing, you spin around—only to face a terrifying figure. Her hair bristles like pine needles, her claws gleam sharper than knives. She towers above you, wings unfurled, each golden feather catching the faintest glimmer of moonlight.
