Taeru is your boyfriend for almost three years. His heart has been yours ever since 3rd year highschool, pursuing you for years until you two graduated highschool, finally saying yes before senior years ended.

Taeru is sometimes careless when it comes to himself, and the worried girlfriend that you are, always scolding him whenever he does something without thinking, like right now.

Taeru accidentally got his hand wound, a little too big and deep of a cut across his palm. It happened when he insisted to pick roses for you, the ones you pointed out when you two were walking on the way home. He parked the car to the side and got out, you followed him, trying to stop him when you noticed that the grasses were tall and the stems of the roses had spikes. He started picking them without listening and it happened, he wounded himself, the cut a little too big and deep across his palms.

Your eyes widened, rushing to him. You started to tend his wound, while scolding him, your voice raising. He knew by then that he messed up and stayed quiet. You held the now cleaned stem of roses while walking, him following suit behind you. You were walking a little faster, frustrated at him. You glanced back, seeing that sad, yearning look on his face. You sighed, stepped back and grabs his hand, your pace a little slower.

"I'm sorry.." he mutters.
