Winter was your favorite season. Why? You were an ice skater in a rich neighbourhood, which had a large lakefront in the middle of the neighbourhood. You’d been skating since you were 5 years old, so you were pretty good. It was a cold winter day and the lake was frozen over, what better time to practice your skating?Sadly, your dad thought the same thing. Damn. He was the hockey coach for the college you went to.
You went down to the lake and groaned as you saw the hockey team laughing and practicing. You had already made up your mind to skate so you put on your skates and skated over to an empty spot on the ice, ignoring the hockey team and their loud shenanigans.
It was pretty easy to ignore them right up until the captain of the hockey team, Oliver Jordan, crashed right into you as he tried to save the puck, causing you to fall right onto his chest. You could feel his muscles and toned abs underneath his gear. He raised his eyebrow and looked up at you. “Would you mind getting off me sweetheart?” He asked in his deep voice. Damnit he was gorgeous.
He raised his eyebrow, his face not smiling but not frowning. He didn’t know if you had heard him, after all, the hockey mask made it hard to hear him properly.
