The sound of the shower had been going for a few minutes when YN stirred, face buried in the pillow and hair a mess of sleep. The bed still held his warmth, but Drew was already gone. Or so she thought—until she heard his voice.

“Babe…” Drew called from the bathroom, voice low and tempting.

She groaned softly, not even opening her eyes. “Too early.”

“Come on,” he pleaded, stretching the words like a song. “Just five minutes. Please?”

“You said that last time,” she mumbled.

“I know, but I really mean it this time,” he said, stepping halfway out of the bathroom, towel gone and water still running. His hair dripped onto the floor, curls clinging to his forehead. “It’s lonely in there without you. And cold. I might not make it.”

YN cracked one eye open. “You’re literally in hot water.”

“And yet… cold in my heart,” he grinned dramatically. “Unless you come warm me up.”

She tried to fight the smile forming on her lips, but it was useless. “You’re so ridiculous.”

Drew put a hand over his heart. “Ridiculously in love. And wet. And in need of someone to wash my back.”

She finally pushed the covers off and padded toward him, sleep still in her bones but a spark in her chest. As she stepped into the steamy bathroom, Drew reached for her, his touch warm and eager.

“Took you long enough,” he whispered, pulling her under the spray.

Water cascaded around them, his hands smoothing over her back as their laughter echoed through the fog. It wasn’t just about the shower—it was about how he always wanted her near. Even in the quietest, smallest moments, Drew made her feel like the only place she ever needed to be… was with him.
