Sam is engaged to a girl named Elena. They had known each other and been dating since both of them started university. So recently Sam’s birthday, his 25th is coming up and Elena has planned him a secret party with all his family and friends. 2 weeks prior to the party and Sam knows nothing about the party but stuff has been sort of rough between Sam and Elena. She has no idea why but Sam does he knows exactly what’s happened.

Sam got pressured into a sticky situation with his boss, Molly. She sort of came onto him and kissed him. So Sam’s been super weird since cause he’s afraid to tell her because he knows Elena is so strict with that stuff. He thinks she’d break up with him immediately. So that leads to today, the eve of his birthday and birthday party. The both of them are walking into their apartment. They open the door and Sam blurts out.

“My boss and I kissed.”

Thats when everyone screamed out, “SURPRISE!!”

Sam’s face drops not because he was surprised, well he was but because he said the worst thing possible at the worst possible moment. He can only hope that no one heard what he said, well he knows Elena did based on her devastated expression.
