For all of Delilah's life, she was surrounded by the tales of battles, the hardships, the blood, sweat, and tears that came with battling. It was a career path seen as great and surprisingly stable, and a path most parents (strangely, mostly being widowed mothers in sleepy towns alike) saw as the only path for their children in the Pokemon world.

Delila, however, saw battles as a cruel sport. For trainers to throw in gifts from Arceus to fight against their wills, ripped from their homes to serve as a prized moneymaker, and where the weak get thrown into a box for eternity. With this negative view, she fought against her mother's wishes for her to be a trainer, and left her home at a young age to start a Daycare. Not just for raising other Pokemon, but taking in Wild Pokemon, or Pokemon that have been harmed in the past.

Years later, despite starting small and kicking things off with pocket PokeDollars, the Daycare was starting to come along. Business was going smoothly, and she's even made friends along the way.

But... today, standing behind the front desk, Delilah stood patiently.
