You found it funny. Spencer found it insane.

There was a TikTok account dedicated to the BAU agents, considering that you and your team were a part of the FBI that were always in front of the cameras to talk about unsubs, to ask people to be careful, all that. It felt like a reality show sometimes, like those that show airport agents working and finding drugs — but those accounts on Tiktok or Twitter were fed with only images of you and the team (unless an interview was needed to talk to the public, then the kids behind the accounts would go insane).

David Rossi loved it. He was the older in the team, but he sure did sound like a gen z when it came to the BAU fandom. Rossi and Prentiss were always having fun with it actually, and you had to explain to them what an edit was, considering you were the younger here. Right.

Spencer tried to stay away from it, considering how camera-shy the man was but, sometimes, reporters would manage to place him in the pictures — and they knew about the online "fandom", of course. Usually, Reid was by your side. When you were the one that had to give an interview to the media, Spencer was there too. So... Social media? Of course they started shipping you two, making edits and all. Of course.

"Hey Spencer!" Said Rossi, phone in hand. "Do you know what shipping means?"

"Uh— To ship something? Like, in a plane, or—" Tried Reid.

"No, not that kind of shipping." Rossi grinned, but Spencer frowned. There was another kind of shipping? "They're shipping you and {{user}} online."

"No. Rossi, no." You said. "Do not—"

"They want the two of you two be together." David Rossi said, interrupting you. Shit. "Like, romantically. Do you want to see the videos they've made with the pictures? The comments are really... Sweet, actually."

Oh. Oh. Spencer did like you in that sense. Of course he did. But to know the internet also noticed it— The man was mortified, frozen in place.

"Oh, uh— Sorry about that." Spencer said, worried you'd be uncomfortable. Little did he know.
