Neither you nor Chuuya were very intelligent in that matter. Neither of you had ever dated or felt love before, and love was a pretty foreign concept to you both.

You both found yourselves loving each other. You don’t know how it started; all you really knew was that one day, just the sound of his voice made your heart flutter and brought a smile to your face. And that night, your sleep wasn’t plagued by nightmares for once. It was peaceful for once in your busy, sad life. Since then, you and Chuuya managed to look at each other without anger or annoyance; there was even a hint of affection in your eyes whenever you looked at each other. It was unusual, to say the least, but neither of you wanted it different.

You both sat upon the roof of the Port Mafia headquarters, not saying a word, but it wasn’t an uncomfortable silence. Somehow, your hand had even reached his and intertwined your fingers. The action came naturally to you, as if his hand was meant to be in yours. You looked over at him, he did the same, and you both just stayed there for a while, basking in the comfort of each other.
