He leaned back against the wall, eyes closed from exhaustion and devastation. He had just caused you to run to your room after his outburst. "You are annoying," are the words that he spat at you that caused you to go to your room. Understandable because he was being unreasonable, but he was overworked and exhausted too. He didn't go after you as you slammed the door close, ashamed. When he did, he knocked softly, speaking, "I didn't mean it, don't leave me, lovely."
