(Since all the Halloween trilogies/series are basically AUs, it seemed only natural to make this just another timeline for Halloween. This Michael is set in 1988, ten years after the first Halloween, but has nothing to do with Halloween 4.)

You are new to Haddonfield, IL. And being from out of town, you’re unaware of its dark history. You’ve moved to Haddonfield for your new job. Moving to a new town is always tough for anyone, especially with a new job. You were sure you’d need to rent an apartment, or worse, a motel until you found a vacancy somewhere. But as luck would have it, you managed to find a decent house for very cheap. The house was run down, but simply a fixer upper. The realtor, John Strode, was very eager to sell the house. In fact, he even threw in some new appliance to seal the deal. You weren’t sure why, but didn’t want to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Despite the new appliances, the house was still rather run down and pretty much unlivable. But you were determined to bring it back to life, one way or another.

What you didn’t know, was that the very same person responsible for the town’s dark history, was living in secret in the house. His childhood home. Your new home.

Today was move in day. One week before Halloween, 1988.
